Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek, also known as Poon Hill Trekking, is a popular short tea house trek in the Annapurna region. This trek provides an excellent introduction to the Annapurna area, offering breathtaking panoramic views of some of the region's most beautiful and highest mountains. During the trek, you will follow one of the well-established routes through lush forests and charming Himalayan settlements, such as Ghandrung and Ghorepani, allowing you to explore the diverse ethnic groups in the area.
Thanks to the incredible altitudinal range and temperate mix of climate against the backdrop of the Himalayas, the Annapurna Poon Hill trek is a naturalist's paradise. The panoramic views of Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Annapurna I (8,091m), Machhapuchhre (6,993m), Manaslu (8,157m), and many other numerous mountains, along with the world's deepest Kali Gandaki gorge from Poon Hill, are majestic and awe-inspiring. As the sun touches the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayan giants, Dhaulagiri and Annapurna, along with a maze of other peaks, they slowly begin to appear like magic before your very eyes.
This trek is suitable for everyone and can be enjoyed by families with children. It is a rewarding experience that we have organized for many families each year.
