Nepal Tea Garden Tour is specifically designed for tea enthusiasts who are keen to witness the beauty of tea gardens in Nepal. These tea gardens are located in the hilly region of Ilam district in Eastern Nepal. Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1300 m) & transfer to hotel
Upon your arrival in the Kathmandu airport, you will be greeted by Global Link Tours and Travel representative and transferred to hotel. After check in, you can either take a rest or hang around in the city depending on your interest and time constraint. In the evening, there will be a pre-trip discussion, introducing with your Tour guide. You will have an opportunity to ask any questions related to the tour program. Overnight in hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing
Today after breakfast, we start a guided sightseeing to historical and spiritual sites in Kathmandu. Some of these landmarks are considered World Heritage Sites that include the historic Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the famous ‘Monkey Temple’ (Swayambhunath) and Buddhists shrine (Buddhanath) which is one of the largest Stupas in the world.
Day 03: Fly to Bhadrapur
Today we take morning flight to Bhadrapur and check in the hotel. Visit the Satar village (Satar are backward tribe who hunt mouse and rats). Overnight at Bhadrapur.
Day 04: Drive to Pashupatinagar via Kanyam tea garden
Wake up early in the morning and drive to Kanyam (approx 40km) for sunrise and after strolling through the tea garden, drive to Pashupatinagar to visit the cheese factory. This is the border town to Darjeeling district of India. En-route visit Karfok, Panchakanya, Simpani, Mai Khola. After lunch at Pashupatinagar visit the local market. Overnight at Pashupatinagar tea gardens and the factory where the renowned Ilam Tea is produced. Overnight at hotel in Ilam.
Day 05: Drive to Ilam Bazaar
After breakfast leave Pashupatinagar and drive to Ilam Bazaar. On the way sightseeing for 1 hour on foot and continue drive to Ilam Bazaar for overnight stay at hotel.
Day 06: Drive to Mai Pokhari.
Day 07: Drive back to Bhadrapur Fly to Kathmandu.
Day 08: Departure From Kathmandu or Optional other Trekking tour of Nepal,Tibet, Bhutan or India.
